Overview
Registration is at 2.00pm on 21st August with the first event commencing at 3.00pm.
Now in its 14th year, the course is designed for children aged 9-13 years old to improve their existing harp skills in an environment that is fun, friendly and challenging. The event will combine workshops, ensemble playing, and a celebrity recital, together with leisure activities such as swimming, team games and crafts. Much of the focus will be on working together, providing a foundation for future ensemble and orchestral playing.
Harp tuition will be given by Ruth Faber and is suitable for both lever and pedal harpists. Experienced house parents and a first aid supervisor will be on duty during the day and night, life guards will be present during the swimming sessions.
Monkton Combe School is situated in the heart of the Midford Valley, just 1 mile from the World Heritage City of Bath. The school provides exceptional facilities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a recital hall for the final concert.
